BLPL Lines launches new liner service linking Singapore, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, and India
BLPL Lines has expanded its regional network with the introduction of a new regular liner service — SMI (Singapore | Malaysia | India) — deploying the vessel MV BLPL Blessing 2514 E. The service aims to provide reliable, timely, and flexible shipping solutions across Asia.
The rotation covers key ports including Nhava Sheva (NSV): 30 August 2025, Mundra (MUN): 1 September 2025, Colombo (CMB): 6 September 2025, and West Port Klang (WSP): 12 September 2025.
Designed to strengthen trade connectivity, the NSV–MUN–CMB–WSP loop will boost cargo flows between India, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Singapore.
The service will accommodate diverse cargo needs, including COC (Carrier’s Own Container) and SOC (Shipper’s Own Container) bookings, along with specialized shipments such as dangerous goods (DG), flexi-tanks, and reefers.
According to BLPL Lines, the new deployment reflects its commitment to enhancing regional trade corridors and providing dependable solutions for exporters and importers alike. With the SMI service, customers can expect punctual sailings, wider connectivity, and greater flexibility — reinforcing BLPL’s role as a trusted logistics partner in Asian maritime trade.
