CMA CGM ends existing Indian VSAs with Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk

CMA CGM is switching from vessel-sharing agreements  to standalone operations across trades out of India in a new strategic approach as it expands its fleet.
The Marseille -based liner has finalized operational plans to call off its two remaining VSAs with Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk after Gemini Cooperation -linked realignments.
The upcoming disengagements include the Swahili Express (SWAX2) loop run with Hapag-Lloyd on the India-East Africa trade and the Midas network, involving two strings, operated with Maersk on the India-West Africa trade.
