Despite Tariffs, Iran War, U.S. On Cusp Of Record $6 Trillion Year
U.S. trade is on track to top a stunning $6 trillion in 2026, led by record-setting growth in exports of gold, oil and gasoline, according to my analysis of U.S. Census Bureau data released yesterday.
U.S. trade has increased an above-average 8.12% to $4.05 trillion through August, the latest data available. It is the first time total U.S. trade has topped $4 trillion in the first eight months of a year.
