Air India Express waives cargo charges for Assam flood relief shipments
Air India Express on Tuesday announced that it will waive cargo charges for the transportation of relief materials to flood-affected regions in Assam. The floods have so far claimed 68 lives, with over 4.45 lakh people still grappling with the impact of the deluge.

The waiver will apply to Air India Express flights operating to Guwahati from Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata. Currently, the airline runs six daily flights from Delhi, three from Bengaluru and two from Kolkata to Guwahati.
