Sri Lanka services exports up 2.79-pct in 2025, helped by BPM, logistics

Sri Lanka’s services exports increased 2.79 percent in 2025 from a year ago to 3,672.77 million US dollars, helped by ICT/BPM, and transport and logistics, the island’s Export Development Board said.
However, in December 2025, services export earnings fell by 2.47 percent, recording 323.89 million dollars.
ICT/BPM exports rose 8.81 percent to 1,644.83 million US dollars in 2025 compared to 2024.
Financial services fell 18.44 percent to 45.04 million US dollars in 2025.
Construction fell 38.13 percent to 131.32 million US dollars.
Transport and logistics rose 3.22 percent to 1,851.58 million US dollars.
Total exports of goods and services for 2025 was 17,725 billion US dollars, up 5.55 percent.
